Criminal#58369 05-23-2005, 02:36 AM Google ads depends on the words on you're site, it will search for releven ads, and display them on you're site, if you have the right words on you're site, and a person on you're site clicks it you will recieve that amount, here is an example from my account:
Date Page impressions Clicks Page CTR Page eCPM [?] Your earnings
Saturday, February 19, 2005 1,072 2 0.2% $0.04 $0.04
Sunday, February 20, 2005 1,079 1 0.1% $0.05 $0.05
Monday, February 21, 2005 921 1 0.1% $0.04 $0.04
Tuesday, February 22, 2005 520 0 0.0% $0.00 $0.00
Wednesday, February 23, 2005 519 2 0.4% $0.67 $0.35
Thursday, February 24, 2005 1,741 3 0.2% $0.14 $0.25
Friday, February 25, 2005 1,565 5 0.3% $1.37 $2.15
Saturday, February 26, 2005 1,541 5 0.3% $1.57 $2.42
Sunday, February 27, 2005 1,931 1 0.1% $0.09 $0.18
Monday, February 28, 2005 1,754 3 0.2% $0.78 $1.36
Tuesday, March 1, 2005 1,328 3 0.2% $0.20 $0.26
So it really depends on the content displayed on you're site.
There are also sites around that you can subscribe to that will give you the keywords that make the most $$$
eddy2099 05-23-2005, 02:38 AM The rate you will get would be dependent on how much the advertisers is willing to pay.
Kerry Jones 05-23-2005, 03:06 AM it depends on the keywords used.
DecentHost 05-23-2005, 03:12 AM Criminal#58369, I think it against Google's TOS to show those stats. Or they've change the TOS ?

Even if they haven't, it is not like they are going to catch criminal$56234
DevilDog 05-23-2005, 09:42 AM There are people who try to create sites so they can cash in on "Golden Keywords". Meshophetemilia (I'm not going to look up the correct spelling) can supposedly yield over $75 a click.
People don't just come to sites, however, to look for ads to click. Your site must be compelling and relevant enough to generate enough traffic where the occassional user, who is browsing your content, sees the adsense ads and clicks on them out of interest. Google pumps ads to your site based on the content it perceives your site deals with.

If I create a single page about Meshophetemilia and then click once a month, my fraud can go undetected, and I can earn 75$ easily?
DevilDog 05-23-2005, 10:02 AM Not necessarily. The page would have to be "significant" enough for Google to index it and actually feed content to it.
Theoretically, however, assuming your site was above the threshold to get Google content ads then I guess it might be possible but it's not as easy as just writing some mindless thing with a keyword splattered all over a page or two and then cashing in by clicking on it yourself once a month.
Doable? Perhaps. Easy? Probably not.

they have an bench of team for this to handle and they can easily handpick from your IP, also if u click from different centers
they will check from the place too, if same place people have more clicks then they might consider you as an FRAUD CLICK

PinkFloydWS 05-23-2005, 05:28 PM The most money per clicked that I have received was $9.50 and it happend once. I usually get $.60 to $.90 per click with my Google Adwords. But I run a fairly large music website, so the clicks are a little higher than normal websites.
Psybadek 05-23-2005, 05:31 PM Ive acctually heard some friends who tried it and it didnt benefit them at all, so it would depend on the content, and your traffic, obviously people need to visit and click the bar.
Xoopiter-Jeff 05-23-2005, 05:53 PM I think its luck of the draw. I notice trends where for 2 days ill receive $2-$5 clicks and then a week of clicks worth $0.10. Luck of the draw!

TieuDieuTu 05-26-2005, 12:21 PM Yeah, it's pretty much luck lol.
For me, some day it's about $5, others it's less than $1. It also depends on how many click per day. Some day it's around 80, others don't even go over 30 clicks.
JonMB 05-29-2005, 10:39 PM I have a very popular site and tried Google Adsense but even though I had around 10 people tell me they clicked the link, Google said only one did. I double-checked the coding but still Google wouldn't accept the clicks. This was a couple of years ago though.
