Hello all,
First-time-poster, but that mostly is because I can't seem to find my older account back - nonetheless I have been frequenting this forum daily, so I know what's in and what's out.
I am co-founder of an internet company which currently manages online marketing campaigns for companies like Dell Computer, VeriSign and Sprint PCS, in addition to providing e-commerce and marketing consultancies to a line of other companies. We also run about 20 websites of our own on which we monetize advertisement inventory and sell products ourselves.
I've never been too fancy of praising my own company, but I think we have a ton of experience when it comes down to selling products online, marketing services, copywriting and turning visitors into customers.
Right now however, we are looking to venture into some other waters, namely webhosting. We'd like to take on some experience with acting as a sales representative for a webhosting company, which I expect to do very well at, since I have experience selling products online. Want to know what I have in mind?
I see lots of sites with online sales representatives not caring about their potential customers because of a sheer lack of time to engage a conversation with them about what they are looking for, and how the host could possibly provide that. I see even more hosts lacking online sales support.
I think myself and possibly my other marketing employees could very well occupy and run such a sales funcion for 5 to 8 hours a day on weekdays, assisting customers in finding out whether the host they're looking at will work out for them (ofcourse it would) and assisting them in answering any questions they might have.
What do we want in return? Right now we have some dedicated servers already, but we are looking for a beefy dedicated machine to run our advertisement software on - if you could provide us with that, we'd be more than glad to assist you! Please, email/PM me, or even better use either ICQ or AIM since that most of the time is quicker.
I'm looking forward to any inquiries I may receive, and to building prosperous partnerships with any interested parties!
