Server has been inaccessible for over 2 1/2 hours and no one has been accessible. I'm not one to complain, but I have customers ringing my phone off the hook.
Just for the record Marc and his crew have been great to us, but this time it is really getting me worried.
Thanks for the help!

Tickets have been submitted over 2 hours ago. Need someone that has his contact info (phone cell). I know some on this forum might have it.

I've asked for a phone number or for them to phone me. No joy.
Call has been in for 3 days - last action over two days ago.
I'm having to move a customer to another host at my own expense until the issue is sorted.
I just wonder how MCHOST got so popular so fast. I can understand their problems though. All of a sudden getting so many orders a day can't be easy.
newedge, sorry i know this is a bit off topic.. but.. nice site!

Strange post - was this a request for technical support or an attempt to discredit a host!
Marc is the owner not the 100% tech support and you are not the only person requiring support.
Each enquiry requires at least some time - you are probably too used to instant mashed potato!

I had been down for over 2 hours and there wasn't any indication that McHost was aware of the situation. This is not just me, but an entire server. So I don't understand your post. I'm not trying to discredit anyone, I'm trying to get about 100 of my domains up and running.
What are you having a problem with. Would just have sat there as your phone rang off the hook. Not me, I was doing all I could for my customers and their uptime.
I already mentioned I'm happy with McHost and this incident hasn't changed anything. I just needed to make sure he was aware of the situation, which I'm sure he wasn't.
And you are correct he isn't 100% tech support, but I know someone here knows his number, as opposed to the numbers of the rest of the support staff.
For the record this wasn't an attempt to discredit my own host. Would seem rather silly to do so.

I don't understand why do you have to use all these words...If you read the post of ALBERTO clearly all he was trying to do is to get to Marc to make him aware of the situation...and if you could just read his post properly he mentioned it very clearly that he is very happy with MCHOST.. All i see is his honest attempt to be concerned about the server and his customers.. If you care about your customers you would not like them to have even a downtime of 2 minutes ...2 hours is a pretty long time..
and about MCHOST ..well in my opinion they are a ROCK SOLID CO.
