Are the servers connected via 10Mbps or 100Mbps?

It would be 10Mbit unless you can justify the 100Mbit

These servers are in california right? For some reason Im getting 50+ ms and I live real close to Irvine.

Yes, they're in California. The ingress bandwidth is primarily AboveNet due to the DDoS filtering strategy. If your ISP has poor performance to AboveNet, then it is likely that your latency will suffer a bit.

If you do not need DDoS filtering I would reccomend that you contact us directly via support@blacklotus.net for a custom quote on our co-location network which is seperate from Staminus.

I think my provider, Adelphia, must have abovenet because every server that goes thru abovenet has high latency. : /

How can an additional 1000GB cost more than an upgrade to 10mbit, meaning you pay more for 3000gb than 10mbit (which can max out at 3300gb).

Because the 10mbit is a unmetered port.

RandyT is correct.

Unmetered 10 Mbps is diffrent than an additional 1000GB since the 1000GB is an overage fee billed on the fly if you spill over 2000GB and the 10 Mbps is a pre-arranged addon.

Yes, but in effect you are paying more for less usage, which just sounds wrong (even if it might make sense).
