No way it's going to work on VirtuaAve. You have got to have your own domain and your own dedicated server.

It looks great, but I will tell you your first few mistakes. 1. First you are offering 200 megs space. Big no no there. You are going to attract more warez than anything else, and they will literally kill your bandwidth.

2. Next your giving 100 emails. Hey it's free service, I'd offer no more than 5. Worldzone.net doesnt offer email at all..pop or webbased simply because everyone and their grandmother is offering it, so we dont need to. It hasnt stunted our growth a bit. Offering email you have to worry about spammers...and too much of that coming thru you, and backbones will start blocking you....not worth it.

3. It looks as though you are going to allow members to place the banner themselves. Well, that honor system doesnt work. I can tell you that from experience.

Other than that, it looks good so far.

I will get my own server at http://www.4webspace.com before the site actually goes live. I also have my own domain name. It's just there fore test/review purposes. I cut the space down to 100MB, but again just anyone can't sign up for the service. Each site must be approved by me and they have to deal with some form of entertainment. Although I could offer unlimited e-mails, I cut it down to 25 since I'll have to manually set each up myself and that will be more throuble then it's worth. The banners will be placed through an SSI command that they must place at/or near the top of there page. IF you take virtualave for example they automaticlly place it in the center of the page, what if the user has a page centered on the left? Screws things up and I don't want that. I also don't want pop-ups. I will howveer take a no tolerence approach on this. They screw up and there gone. I'll make sure to explain it more clearly in the TOS when I write it.

Ok...well it looks good. What software are you going to be using? Come to think of it, Wired-wolf is looking for a new home, you interested in a partnership with him? Anyone interested?

Anyway, back to yours....you have a banner rotation program? If you do, then you can use it to rotate banners for a number of agencies instead of just one. Thats how you want to go about it so you can weed out the scam and loser agencies out of the good ones that actually pay. Plus you can give your members your own code instead of an ad sposor code. Then you can change out all banners from a single location instead of asking members to update their code.

You said this is a specialty fwp, that accepts only certain sites right? Gaming sites? If so, I have one high traffic one looking for a home. I wont shut him down, but I did shut down his downloads because he had hit 25 gigs. Think you could handle him?

I do have my own banner code and plan on using either Website Sponsors or Allclicks or Both. I know both a great companies that always pay, so that's not a problem. Certain sites in the entertainment industry, but I'm afraid 25GB's a month would be a little much for me also.
