Hey Jeff these prices look good, esp. on the 2 Mbps for under $700. How do you do it?

...was wondering the same thing myself. You have to be pretty high up on the food chain to get those kinds of prices *wholesale*.

Yeah, I guess you could say that I'm getting up there on the food chain. My primary goal is to pull in a few customers at basicly cost (on the bandwidth) so I can upgrade to faster/diverse connectivity - that's why it is a promotion. :)

If I can pull in at least another 5 Mbps or so, I'm going get additional access to FNSI, Level3, and UUnet through a DS3 to an ISP.

If any one is interested, please let me know.

I'm also going to be offering space in different cities for those who desire redundancy - several locations in New York, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, and Ohio - but not at these prices.

Thanks for your inquiries.

not bad at all except for the nasty 95th percentile measurement.

This pricing is based on MONTHLY AVERAGE not 95th percentile. You might want to ask before posting false information.

Thanks.

I'm a bit confused here. I was looking at your web site's colo pricing page and it says that bandwidth is measured using the 95th Percentile method, but you just said that you don't use that method. How is bandwidth measured? By the way your pricing for colocation is very attractive. Is bandwidth burstable?

It does say this on the site Jeffrey. Probably where Jag got the info from. Ease down. :)

Good stuff though!

That is where I got the info from, but going by your response to my post you just lost this potential client.

I apologize if I came across as being nasty. It's been a long day and I'm on edge because of lack of sleep. I hope you can understand.

Let me clarify for everyone:

Please contact me directly for more information, as the information on my company's webpage does not apply to this promotion. I will be posting a URL specifically for this promotion either later today or tomorrow so that there is no further confusion.

We monitor bandwidth using MRTG, which calculates a monthly average. That is what we use to bill our customers. The bandwidth is fully burstable. From experience, I know what a difference the 95th percentile can make in a customer's bill.

Thanks, and have a great weekend everyone.

Looking at your hosting plans page and looking at http://ultraspeedusa.com/plans.html looks like your looking at the same page, you could have at least changed the table some so it don't look just like you took it off our site.

I think your post is off topic. This thread has to do with colocation services.

In addition, I have a server with UltraSpeed USA for my web hosting clients - you might want to take that into consideration when insulting one of your clients.

I have already spoken with Daniel of UltraSpeed USA and this matter has been handled. No need for further discussion.
