I've been a member of WHT since January. In a few short months, I've come to consider this place my second home. You folks:

- help the needy
- expose the frauds
- give direction to the lost
- provide valuable advice
- keep everyone on the straight'n'narrow

This post is nothing more than a big thank you to all the members that make this a great place to hang out every day.

Matt, and all the moderators, you should be very proud of the fantastic community you've built.

Lats...

Well a number of us that post here quite regularly tend to operate most days as tech support types anyway. WHT is just an extension of what we all do day to day. We're all learning from this forum just like the new guys and that's what I think makes it a great place.

There's the odd bump in the road where the community feeling gets stretched, but everyone plays nicely with others for the most part. It's nice to see people still find it as great a place as I did a year and a half or so ago when I found it.

Of course kudos to the mods as always. :)

Joking of course, I agree it is a very cool forum, and I have certainly learned a lot from everyone. As you said, a lot of the credit needs to go to the mods, all of whom do an excellent job of keeping the peace when necessary, and letting us roam pretty freely otherwise.

I agree. A few times I've felt like leaving and never coming back, but this place is the best compared to every other forum I've been a member of.

I visited sitepointforums for my first time last night, and it doesn't even compare! They have a very odd community there, and way too many moved threads (making it hard to browse). Not sure if it interests me.
