After found the Plesk management service crashed when web traffic goes up and web server works faster afterwards, I want to uninstall Plesk.
However, there is some advantage to have plesk, such as adding IP to the server, manage account vs. web sites, plus sharing web sites on the same IPs.
Without Plesk, on a raw Windows 2003 web edition, I would be able to manage IIS web site directly, however, what else needs to be done to add addtional IP to the server? As I've tested on a raw Windows 2003 server, it seems only the default IP is recognized by web browser, other IP that bound to other web site on the server are not seen from the internet.

I did that, plus The default web site is set to "all unassigned IP", still only the first IP that's assigned to the server by hosting is seen from internet. All additonal Ip assigned to this server then added to the default web site are not seen.
In Plesk, there is a "add IP address" function, which I have to use after hosting assigned IP to this server in order to make the IP avaiable to the web sites created in Plesk.
Is there any corresponed tasks I need to do in Windows 2003 without Plesk?

Did you add the IP to your ethernet interface as well?

Click add under IP addresses.

I'd like to ask one more question, since Plesk allows multiple domain/web site to share the same IP address (resolve domain to its corresponded web site), which apparently has something to do with the apache web server included in Plesk.
After removed Plesk, I guess IIS doesn't have such a feature or doesn't it?
