I need free hosting.

It don't have to be add free but it must have...

10mb webspace (or more)
10mb MySQL (or more)
PHP3 or 4 with GD
don't need perl
preferably a sub domain.

man there is thousands of hosts i am sure you can find one good one.there is probably millions of messages on this board too.

I have no experience with them but they offer ad free php services too , you may want to check them out.

Not sure, but I think I read datablocks is a guy with his cablemodem at home. Most ISPs don't allow servers running 24/7 on domestic cable or DSL and will cancel that cable/DSL MAC (AUP violation).

Not sure where you read that, but Felix of Can-host.com might be able to shed light on that. Felix, IP addresses belong to Mountain Cable.

John, owner of datablocks, co-locates his server with his cablemodem provider. He doesnt run the server from his room, of a cable connection.

Datablocks does support MySQL and Php3. I am not sure about php4. He recently shifted from Linux to FreeBSD. Maybe thats why the signups are down?
