(its rc2, should be out very soon). At $99 for a non-plesk version ($79 if you have plesk), its the same price. I played with the demo (of v1.1) and it looked quite good. v2 has quite a few good features, including shopping cart. http://www.sw-soft.com/en/products/sitebuilder/new gghosting 05-18-2005, 08:44 AM I like swSoft SiteBuilder. We use that and it's very nice. boonchuan 05-18-2005, 08:48 AM It looks great but I prefer one that can be plugin easily with controlpanels, for me I am using Sitezen which can be plug in easily with Directadmin Jimerson 05-18-2005, 09:03 AM Well I appreciate this< I use cpanel but I am shure I can configure a button to add in to cpanel. This should not be too much of an issue. icestorm 05-18-2005, 05:39 PM Originally posted by Jimerson Has anyone used: http://www.ezgenerator.com Its only 99$ I am going to get the demo when I get home I was just wondering if anyone has used it or if there were any other better alternatives for the same price I've tried the demo and it's not exactly the easiest way to create a web site. Their built-in templates do look interesting, however I just didn't feel comfortable with their software. Perhaps they'll improve with future versions. If you want better client-end software, stick with Microsoft FrontPage. For a web-based site builder, try www.Soholaunch.com. blacknight 05-18-2005, 07:54 PM Originally posted by boonchuan Sitezen which can be plug in easily with Directadmin Pity it only works with IE 5.5 Jimerson 05-18-2005, 08:00 PM Thanks very much for the advice guys demostorm 05-23-2005, 10:07 AM Originally posted by gbjbaanb I played with the demo (of v1.1) and it looked quite good. v2 has quite a few good features, including shopping cart. http://www.sw-soft.com/en/products/sitebuilder/new Those features look pretty good. I'd love to see an implementation of it. SWsoft says its available now but their demo is still stuck on 1.1. Would 1.1 users be upgraded to 2.0 for free? I gather that the download link on the site is for a trial period. Has SItebuilder become any easier to install. Judging by some posts we'd have to take a chunk of time we don't have just to get it working on a non-plesk platform. I'm still looking for the other site builders to catch up to Soholaunch's drag and drop product placement system. IF they've done it then great going. Ccompetition is a good thing. |
