Just wanted some opinions based on experiences with this shopping trolley outfit that Mal offers.
Seems alright but I guess the only drawback is that it is on his server.

Sounds great. I would still rather pay for a merchant account. I don't think I would be able to trust something I got for free.

You can alwasy used their premium service which is a paid service

As your site gets busier you may want to upgrade your free store to a Premium account. This has extra facilities that I haven't been able to make available within the free program because they are too resource intensive. The upgrade costs $6 US a month, payable 3 months in advance.

Mal's doesn't offer a processor exactly with their free offering, but rather a cart in a secure place. Processing of orders and creditcards (validity etc) still needs to be done by you.

Having said that, I've built a few sites that use them over the past year or so and find it a great service, easy to set up and have never had any problems with it.

Would I use them myself? Probably not, but if you like them, they'd be worth a go. No experience with the paid offering they have though
