I have a reseller. I want to give access to WHM to a few people, but i dont want them to have full permissions and i want to be able to look what they edit in the log.
Is there anyway i can make accounts to do this?

If you have a reseller account you will not be able to provide sub reseller accounts to your customers unless you have some sort of special software to do so.

Why do you want some users to log into your WHM account ?
There may be another solution.

If you want to resell accounts with whm, you need to have a VPS.

That is correct. A VPS or dedicated box is the only way to do that.

To tell you the truth, I don't really understand his question.
Is he actually already having a reseller account or does he HAVE A RESELLER or what is what? I'm not entirely sure what he means.
albal, could you please rephrase your question to be more specific so that we do not have to guess on what you are trying to ask and etc?
Thanx.

albal has a reseller account. So he can log in to WHM as a reseller. Now he wants to share the account with a few people. Those people will be able to log in to WHM and do some stuffs. But he wants to make sure they can't do any serious stuff like changing the reseller password. He also wants their activity in WHM to be logged. Is it possible?
That's what I understood.
I don't know the answer. :)

WHM has an API to allow things such as account creation. You could use this API to create your own scripts, which you could then allow others to use. I have done this for creating reseller accounts, resetting cPanel passwords, listing subdomains and parked domains. You can setup a hash key (which is stored in the scripts) to allow access without storing your password in the script.
See:
http://www.cpanel.net/remoteaccess-php.html
http://www.cpanel.net/remoteaccess.html
for a very brief description of the API. I've actually extended it using undocumented extensions. Basically anything you can do in WHM you can do from a script.

RVSKin has a sub-reseller option for reseller accounts in it, with WHM access.. in its cPanel skin.
