the first post says it comes with multiple mysql databases, but then it says extra ones cost extra. how many is included in the offer, before "extra" ?

and are the versions of php and mysql etc really that old, or have they been updated?

Fantom if you would like an account with CPanel I can offer you the following:

We do have one server with CPanel although I cannot offer packages with unique IP's. This server is a PIII 850MHz machine with 511MB RAM and is located at VDI.

I will reduce the cost to £25/$36 a month for the same deal as accounts will have to share IP's. Unique IP's can be made available only after a justified request.

Alabanza plans comes with SSH, CPanel plans come with Telnet.

All plans include one FTP per resold account.

More can be purchased for a small fee as with subdomains.

I already signed up for the $50 plan (still waiting for the server details), but just to clarify the things - if I took advantage of that Cpanel plan, would you be charging me for extra IPs and what would you consider a justified request for an unique IP anyway?

And as I notice on your website, extra subdomains/ftp accounts are £25/£45... does that mean for £25 I get unlimited subdomains/ftp accounts?

Also, why are you charging that much for MX record change (£45)... any discounts for people that signed up for this plan available?

If there is an actual reason why you should need a dedicated IP for a particular account then no problem, but on the VDI server we don't have many IP's and so don't want to issue a unique IP with every resold account. The VDI server isn't used all that much at all - its mainly used to host a mirror for our support section in case main servers should go down. It is preferable if you can use the alabanza ones as they are the ones we use day in day out and our staff are fully trained on how to support them. Alabanza CP isn't that unfriendly -- in fact most of our customers prefer it to CPanel. Alabanza's panel is a lot more stable than cpanel, if not so customizable.

The price is per FTP/Subdomain.

All addons are discounted 50% for resellers, meaning the £45 MX change is halved as well.
