I have the chance to get a two letter .org domain name for 100 $.

Would you get it, and do you think this is a reasonable price in the current market situation?

Thanks for sharing your opinion with me! :stickout

Hmmm hard to say,

Is it a two letter domain name like pt.org or one with a number like 6s.org ?

Personally - No.

While 2 letter domain names are highly sought after, when was the last time you went to an org address?

My opinion only of course.

Then I don't think it's a good idea, but that's just my opinion :D

I don't care that it's a number and a letter, since the name really fits my puposes.

If it fits what you need then ... it speaks for itself:)

Wouldn't do it for just the sake of having a two letter...and not generally fond of .orgs....but if it fits, then wear it.

if you can use it, i think you should go for it
although .org is not really appropriate for a business site

personally i am a fan of domains with good keywords as opposed to ones that are short in length.

Linux.org? :D

In my opinion a two letter .org would be worth it. The letter and number combo makes it a lot less valuable though as there's often a lot of them lying around unused (especially when to look at three letter/number combos for instance).

If it's a good combination you can build on then why not... I bet the P2P combinations are worth a lot more now since Napster came along :)

Speaking of a two letter .org, there is currently one at eBay: KY.org (http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2009906760) (not mine!)

Hell yeah.
Even if it is a .org
I would make the exception if it was two digits long.
I currently own 25 three letter names, several of which have numbers in them.
And even those are hard to come by in .net or .com
but a two letter .org
or rather
a two letter anything

Jump on it man.

Wish I was you, lol

If it was a 2 letter name, I would go for it. But in this case it's a number and letter. I don't think those are to impressive. I have not been to a 2 letter .org website yet.

Has anyone ?

Nope.

If you really need the 2 letter org domain for a reason then I would get it. If not, I don't see why since it is a letter and a number :o
