View Full Version : Assistance needed. MoneyBookers
wdi-home 05-11-2005, 11:59 PM Hey guys,
If someone can explain to me how can I sell with Moneybookers? I can't find in the FAQ anything about merchant accounts..
I believe It's somewhere.. but where. :)
cavalry 05-12-2005, 12:31 AM Moneybookers' merchant site is under the bottom of
this page:
http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=contact
And you click on this:
It will direct you to the Moneybookers' merchant site:
http://www.moneybookers.com/merchant/en/
Moneybookers does not provide shopping cart,
you can consider to use OSCommerce, Zen Cart, and www.phpcart.co.uk
http://www.phpcart.net
Moneybookers' reply is got damn slow, but they are a well established company.
wdi-home 05-12-2005, 12:37 AM Ah that link...It was hidden.
Yes, I read some information about basic integration, but It needs some kind of approval if you want Instant credit card payments from unregistered buyers.

wdi-home 05-12-2005, 12:45 AM You use them?
wdi-home 05-12-2005, 12:47 AM I won't think of approval after you said their reply is "very" slow. ;)

No, currently I am not. But I am planning to.
I am trying to figure out how to get phpcart to work with
moneybookers.
I tried Zen Cart, but it was very confusing to me.
So far, I only trust these 4 well established processors:
(1) paypal (perhaps)
(2) moneybookers
(3) ccnow
(4) worldpay

Yes, I heard they do not even reply emails; but they have replied to my emails so far, just slow response.
And I also heard Moneybookers required shoppers to fax documents to verify if they were real credit cards owners,
consequently merchants and shoppers complained and
finally sales loss.
But some merchants also prise Moneybookers' wire transfer money is fast.
In my personal opinion, the security of our money is the most
important part in running our business.
If we do not get our money, everything will become zero! ;)
cavalry 05-12-2005, 01:25 AM And I also heard Moneybookers requested merchants to call
them in the UK to verify something, I do not mind to do that
provided if not calling them everytime for each transaction.
cavalry 05-12-2005, 01:31 AM wdi-home,
Plesae do not take my word for it to change your desicion,
I might be wrong.
Please put key word "moneybookers" to search for other threads about moneybookers in this frorum.
Good luck!
wdi-home 05-12-2005, 03:16 AM Don't worry, I am removing them from my list. Doesn't sound convenient.
I still have Emetrix and Kagi on my list though. But both haven't answered me yet. Poor operations!
Masud 05-12-2005, 08:08 PM One of my cleint want to pay by money bookers since he has some grans in his account.
Is money booker safe?
wdi-home 05-12-2005, 08:24 PM For safety, It is..
wdi-home 05-13-2005, 12:31 AM Well, Moneybookers looks more professional also and cheaper than others. Just If they could tell me how to be eligible for Instant Credit Card payments with no registration required from buyer end.
wdi-home 05-13-2005, 05:37 AM How can I eligible to accept credit cards directly, and instantly without requiring the customer to register though?
