i was wondering if anyone can help.

i am regularly getting email spamed. i have the software to remove the the email but i was wondering if anyone is aware of any software to monitor this issue.so that i can deal with it promptly.

generaly speaking what monitoring software are you guys using to detect dos attacks,trojans e.t.c as soon as they happen.

i would very much appreciate any help with these issues or related info.

You didn't say what kind of spam problems you're having. Are your users receiving a lot of spam, or do you have users sending a lot of spam?

A DOS can be detected in the usual service monitoring that you are hopefully already doing. You can use something like enotify.com to monitor that the services on your machine are still servicing requests and you can run something to notify you if the server load suddenly spikes.

Trojans are something that you probably won't be detecting, but rather avoiding through security measures.
