I'll bet this has probably been asked before, but there's no harm asking again:

Is there a way that my site can setup customer accounts instantly when they sign up?

I'm a reseller with Donhost so it would need to be something that would work on their server..

Any ideas?

you would need to give the script root access, would donhost allow this??

I'll contact them about that and see what they say.

In the mean time does anyone know where to locate one of these scripts??
