After several attempts at trying to find a dedicated host that I could trust for a reasonable price, I've given up. We're all familiar with Rackspace for their support and uptime. They're the leaders by far. I've always dreamed of having a server there, but the prices have always kept that a dream. I've finally decided to cave in and just do it. I was just going to get the server and pay the prices they were asking, just so I didn't have to worry anymore....until it hit me!!!!
Find ten other people to buy servers at the same time and see what Rackspace offers you. Well, to my surprise, it was a great savings, nearly matching the specs and cost for what I was getting before. After comparing the deal, I'm going to save almost $200 a month for what I would have had to pay them. Plus they waived all set-up fees. Now...I've already gotten over 15 people that are willing to do it, so the price is locked and it looks like I'm going to get into Rackspace for an amazing price. If anyone else is interested in purchasing a server(must be ready to buy in two weeks) from rackspace at the prices and specs they're offering us, just PM me and I'll send you all the info. You will be going directly thru Rackspace, not thru me. We just have to order them all in a two day time frame and you'll be given the Sales reps name and a password in order to get the deal. It does require a 12 month contract(13th month free), but you can make your payments monthly. This is a great server and the price is under $250 a month. I hope a few of you can take advantage of this offer with us.
