Sorry for these stupid sounding questions, but I'm still newbie when it comes to dedicated servers and that stuff.

I'm currently hosted at Aletia.com with my site at their highest shared hosting plan.
However,my site has outgrown the plan and every month I'm excceding my transfer limit now(which is 15 gig).

My initial plan was to go finally dedicated, but 200$ a month is still too expensive for me.
Until I found the virtual dedicated plan at http://tera-byte.com/vir.html which seems very good to me.

My question is how far can this be considered dedicated hosting, and how reliable are they?
I might go with that plan but first I would like to have some feedback here.

Thanks.

Well you will find lots of threads about tera-byte goingback a long way if you do a search of the forumss on their name.

As to how good that deal is relative to your needs - well you would need to post more details of your needs to get better feedback. And perhaps even post these needs in the requests forum to receive offers. As for the costs of a dedi you should read through the offers forum and look through the offers in their that are sub $200 (there are a few). But depends if you really want/need to get into managing yhour own server.

PS. You will find that many of the hosts here are too busy flaming each other to notice a genuine "prospect" posting pre-sales questions which is rather weird IMHO :)
