I'm pretty sure most people knew this. After hearing that her card reading hotline or whatever was being investigated, I saw her on TV promoting her new dating service. This woman knows how to make money - legitimately or not.

Hehe. There was a news story on her. Everyone knows it is a scam. I can't believe that millions of people actually called Miss Cleo, unless they were just calling for fun. I haven't heard of the dating service. She was born in California? It is funny that she is pretending to be Jamaican. So she is half Texan and half Californian. She is not Carribean at all! Thanks for sharing!

Alright, raise your hand if you believed that she was actually from Jamaica in the first place.

I haven't paid much attention to the outcome of any of that, but it's kind of thing that normally results in civil penalties -- and perhaps an order to stop the practice -- but not an arrest. Especially since "Miss Cleo" apparently is little more than a bit player in the operations of a large company, she's not really the one who should be arrested.

Here's a very detailed story from a local Florida (where Miss Cleo lives) newspaper: http://www.newtimesbpb.com/issues/2002-01-03/feature.html/1/index.html
