Hi everyone,

I am looking to setup a domain services for my web hosting company. I would like some good suggestions for domains registrars that do NOT ask for an entry fee and yet that are still *reasonably* cheap. (so no eNom or Godaddy please)

Does this exist?

There's an Enom reseller some where here (check out the offer pages) who's selling minimum of 10 domains at 10.95 each. So... eventhough it's Enom (and you said no Enom) you can still consider them.

Other more affordable ones I know are (but not sure about set up)
onlinenic.com
opensrs.com

Forgive me if I missed out anything, hope it helps :)

If setup is a concern, you definately don't want to do OpenSRS, there is a $250 minimum deposit, and minimum $250 deposits after that.

Dotster has no setup fees, but the price is higher - $12.

It's a prepayment for the domains you are going to buy. A setup fee wouldn't get you anything but entry into the program, but that initial payment to OpenSRS gets you your first 25 domain names.
