Hello,
I run CompuNotes and we publish a weekly newsletter. One of our sections is called Clickables where we look at two useful, cool sites for our readers. Sites they may not have known about.
If you're a hosting company this is one of the ways you can help your clients if they have good sites. The PR from being mentioned includes the article, a page on our website and a really dorkey graphic I made at 2:00am in the morning. :-)
Seriously, the mentions in CompuNotes do drive traffic to the sites we feature. We have a high standard or what is useful or cool, but if you look at the current crop of Clickables, you'll see what I mean.

Why am I posting this here? Well, two reasons: 1) The editors and myself want to move away from our own favorite sites and expand what we look at. 2) WHT has been good to me and although I am not a reseller, I'd like to help out where I can.
