Our partner company ABetterWay has finally released their commercial versions of many scripts Web Hosting Network has been utilizing for quite some time and I am proud of their achievements.
We have been running these scripts for quite some time and can honestly say that they have helped our company in many ways, especially finding high resource customers and moving servers from one NOC to another.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CPanel ServerMove
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(*) ServerMove is a set of Perl scripts that will quickly and efficiently move your web hosting customers from one CPanel server to another, seamlessly!
It will take the hassle out of reconfiguring IP numbers, reconfiguring DNS and all your other associated config files
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AbusePack
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(*) AbusePack is a set of scripts that are designed to help find abusing websites that otherwise might be very tedious to find. These scripts are able to provide you with key information regarding services such as Apache and MySQL.
Apache Tool : This allows you to pull specific details from your users logs such as total hit counts, total page views and even
total script executions. You can specify an immediate figure so once the scripts completed analyzing your domlogs, it will display any
sites that exceed your figures.
MySQL Tool: Once mysql logging is enabled, this will allow you to analyze your logs to see which sites/users are most actively using
mysql in terms of connections.
FindFiles Tool: Once run, finds any files such as .mp3, .zip and .exe which is a good way of finding TOS content violators
LoadAVG: LoadAVG is a script that is meant to be run via a cron be it every 5, 10, 15 minutes or however often you'd like. What it does is analyzes the current load on the server, the 1, 5, and 15 minute averages, and compares to the limits you set before you are notified. If the current load exceeds the values you define, then it will run a top and a ps and then do what you choose with the information. You can choose to email the info to any number of recipients, log the info, or both.
