I've just got ClientExec setup on my VARHosting Reseller account and have a quick question ...

(I have searched for an answer already) :-)

When a new customer orders a domain and hosting the account is set to 'pending'. I've tested this by getting as far as the Paypal payment page but obviously going no further.

My question is - If the customer actually completes the paypal payment does the account actually get setup on the server or does it stay at 'pending' for me to activate manually?

I hope this makes sense. I know abot the security issues with auto account creation, but I only have 4 people using the ordering system and tha's how it'll stay.

I understand that I'll have to register the domain manually but I want the account to be created automatically.

As far as i know (i've been playing with this software for the last day as well), i've only managed to get it to get to pending, even after completing a paypal payment... havent looked on the CE forum yet tho, so might find something about it on there

Ok, so according to the CE forum (www.ce-talk.com) its not possible :(

Alberto says that automatic account creation will be in the 3.x release series, so you may be waiting a while ;)

Yeah, it has something to do with security with CE, or something like that, but Alberto and his crew will come up with something in their 3.x releases. :)
