I think my hosting service (no names until I know if this is what's going on) is blocking mail from RoadRunner smtp. Has anyone every heard of this? I can receive mail from everyone but people who are using RoadRunner's smtp service. That's a BUNCH of people in my area, including several relatives and associates....

Have you tried asking your host about this?

Sure! They know exactly what the situation is. Their response was that everything looked good at their end. I haven't been able to get a response from the direct question I posted to my support ticket over an hour ago.

Has this been going on for very long? If not, then it may just be that a server/pipe is down somewhere between RodeRunner and your host.
Edit - By the way, you can check this if you have shell access at your host. Just run a traceroute from your host to RodeRunner's IP.

I love my cable modem, but i must say... they do tend to have a lot of trouble at various times of the day... due to bottlenecking and who knows what else.
Sometimes wont get mail at all, suddenly when opening mail ya get a sh** load of mail.
Good Luck

small typo
Lately we've been getting a lot of spam from rr.
If your host has spam filtering software..they may have blocked roadrunner automatically.
