Basically I am wondering what companies are out there that have been in business for a very long time. I am willing to pay a good amount a month for the services I need. Basically to keep the server up and going, and to make sure it is hack free. Run as smooth as possible as well!

Also I would perfer the company was in America (so if the company messes up it can be handled better), but I will look at other companies as well.

Well companies like http://www.theplanet.com can take care of this for you and they are located in the USA. They have different levels of management that you can choose from, I believe.

Just as a host you feel comfortable with.

Sometimes, they can do it, but don't have at their website.

I for one would happily do management, if a client would ask :)

Also, this is just my own thought about support in general, but it seems that big corps lack always badly in support, and good support is damn hard to find. So be carefull when choosing a host :)

You should use a third-party admin. I recommend that you consider ServerWizards (www.serverwizards.com) and avoid Rack911.

HTTPme.com offers true fully managed dedicated servers. Basically, they take care of everything that is "admin related" and you just "use" the server.

Torith can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's looking for server managment for an existing server, not managed dedicated servers.

There are several companies out there that do this and have good reputations. A couple I can think of off the top of my head are:

Easy Server Management - http://www.ezsm.net
Touch Support - http://www.touchsupport.com

I know there are others out there too that other people could comment on, I'm sure. I've personally used Easy Server Management and the staff there are very good.

I haven't used Touch Support but I've heard good reports about them.

Where did he say that?

If he's jus looking for management companies, then the offers/requests forum is full of people offering these services.

I know a few that are out there that do a really good job. There is one by me that does a great job but they need your server to be Cpanel. You can not use them for plesk. look me up and i will tell you since I also use them for certain tasks.

The title of the thread - "Companies who manage servers?"

Just an assumption on my part, which is why I said he can correct me if I am wrong, but if he was looking for managed dedicated servers he would have titled it "Companies who sell managed servers?" or something like that.

The title led me to believe he had an existing server or servers and wanted someone to manage them.

sirtwist is correct :). Sorry I was gone or I would of responded sooner. Basically I am looking for a company who would manage my server. I am getting a server soon with the planet. Thanks everyone for the information I will look at the sites!
