I haven't purchased it yet, but planning to. How does it work with domain registrations? Can you make it like modernbill where it automatically registers a domain and sends all of the info to the customer?

So you like how whois.cart works with registering domains?

yes it is seamless...

you can set it to auto process
(a bad idea ubtill you have look the order over )
Or after approving the order you can click a couple buttons and the domain is processed.

I like whois.cart(). I haven't had any problems with it, and the support team is fairly fast.

Yes whois.cart can do this.

But I would advise you not no go for this option.

It is better to take safeguards against CC Fraud.

It doesn't scale as well as Modernbill and lacks functionality by comparison.

However if you are on a budget it's a good starting point

still yet for the price it cannot be beat...

It's got some bugs, nothing real showstopping so far, yes it will auto process registrations and even hosting if you use Directadmin (or a couple other supported carts).

I like it because it's short and sweet and simple, Modernbill, while I'm sure it's an awesome product has too many buttons and links and options for me, take the money, register the domains, create the hosting, send the invoices, suspend if they don't pay, that's all I want.

thats almost show stopping!

Its kinda like the cordless phones you buy if you get one that has every feature that is known to man on it thats great, untill you want to just make a call and then you have to break out the manual, when all you rally want to do was make a phone call...

I am a big time fan of whois.cart (3 copies of it owned so far, probably another one comming soon!). It can be a bit hard to setup if you don't follow directions, but now that Saeven has released a video it's easier than ever. Just follow the video step by step and youc an be up and running in under 10 minutes. It also has full support for FraudGate (screening of orders with phone-calls), some nice discounts for merchant accounts and domain registrations, and a very clean easy interface. About the only thing that it lacks is a good set of accounting tool (profits, losses, gains, graphs, etc...) but for the cost it is simply the best thing out there. I wouldn't use anything else.

I dont have any php knowledge but I learn fast on window based (visual GUI) based applications. Does it mean that I can set it up without any codding knowledge?

And where can I look at the videos?

kind regards

Yes you can set it up without any coding knowledge. If you wanted to hack any part of it then it would require some PHP knowledge. If you want to change the theme that's just simple HTML knowledge for 85% of it :)

As for the movie it has now changed to a flash demo. http://whoiscart.net/tutorials/Installing_Whoiscart.htm

I like whois.cart. It is clean to setup and use. Also the developer is good at adding options and helping with code and mod questions.

Thanks for the kind encouragement guys. We are working very hard to ridiculously outdo ourselves with Silverstar. Auracle is about to be released, the beta is going very well with our current 62 testers! After this, I hope to be able to convince that the time spent on whois.cart's replacement was well spent.

I agree that when one has no experience whatsoever with scripts, the installation of any script can be daunting. Whois.Cart()'s installation is very simple - as most - the database must be spawned, and the script uploaded to FTP with proper permissions. Therein lie the only hurdles; 80% of installation tickets stem from clients who use FTP programs that don't respect binary content even when set to binary - corrupting the Zend Encoded files. Once these little hurdles are through, unless unusually rare ones service in that last 99th percentile, (segfaults on unhealthy servers, firewall issues) - it's usually smooth sailing.

We scrapped the WMV in favor of a more interactive Macromedia captivate video - hopefully that'll help. Great program that one (Captivate)! Highly recommended.

Cheers!
