Any comments on tera-byte.com? Their features and prices look okay to me. Any comments?

As cbaker17 said, they're ok. They used to have a history in downtime but that may have changed.

I used them for about a year and 1/2 and there wasn't downtime, not sure about that statement. Is this based on your experiences or ???

(Experience: Dedicated 4r and colocated RaQ3 servers)

It is based on experience. I had them one year ago. I was attracted by the prices

would you say that tera-byte is better than aletia? I think price wise they both look good but it i get the vibe that aletia is bad and tera-byte is good? but im not sure...

I think I know the time-ish you are talking about. They had a couple weeks of burps, but once they fixed it, I personally didn't have problems after that. This was also dedicated, I can't speak of their shared hosting...

I've had a Cobalt RaQ with Tera-Byte for a year. At the beginning of the year, there was some downtime, but the downtime quickly diminished to near zero. Until the recent UPS failure, my server had run for well over 100 days without any downtime.

I have been so satisified with their uptime and support that I recently colocated another server with them.

There was an unexpected failure of one of the UPS (uninterruptible power supplies) a couple of weeks ago.
