I will be travelling to Singapore and Australia next month. Anybody knows how to get a merchant account in both countries for me to process creditcard payment?

Worldpay first came into my mind. Worldpay has office in Singapore to target Asia Pacific market.

Can't you use your existing credit card processor to process your credit card payments while you are in Singapore and Australia?

It does not matter what currency, preferable in US$. I am using 2co now for my hosting and web design business. I need a new one to replace 2co as their every cycle of payment wired to my bank account is no long prompt. Sometimes, it delays for more than 10 days after I raised a ticket to ask them for my money.

USD should not be a problem. Most offshore processor(s) have USD bin with Euro, and pounds currency. It sounds like you are looking for faster funding on your processed funds.

Not faster funding, just to avoid 2CO will close one day line paysystem. So it is better to have a merchant account at lower rate. Our sales per month is not much, ranging from USD500 to USD1000 per month. How ever, we have new project for VOIP service next month. Our sales may increase to USD2000 to USD5000 per month because most customers will pay by creditcard .

So far, I contact forcetronix.com, they offer merchant account to any asia country if you have a company inc. in Europe.

The requirement is a copy of company registration in english and a copy of passport from the registered Director or secretary.

As for the fund, they can wire to my Malaysia Bank Account on a weekly basis.

The cost is as follows:

Setup: Euro 99.00
Monthly fixed fee: Euro 7.95
Wire fee: Euro8.00

Register a company in Europe is far easier for a Malaysian compared to open a company in US in order to use Authorize.net

Yes, open EU company is not hard.

But to apply for merchant account in EU you must provide Director from EU too and moreover from the country where the company is opened.

Abdull, if you have a EU incorporation already it would be quick and easy for you to obtain an EU merchant account.

that is a good link. I have contact both banks before. The requirement is very crazy. They need you to have paid up capital RM50,000.00 and above and monthly sales more than RM50,000.00, which is USD13,000.00. Else they will terminate your merchant account after 6 months if you cant hit this sales figure. And your company must be Pte Ltd and more than one year business.

We can meet all above requirement except the minimum monthly sales USD13,000.00. I dont understand why they have such regulation! So, I got to take European merhcant account though it is more troublesome.

There are some good links for those have trouble to find a Payment Service Provider.

I guess that they require you to make such volume because of services charges from there site. And then they seeking for bigger merchant's.
