Hello, i am here with a question about webalizer:
I see that many people in the advertising forums talk about their UNIQUE hits whenever they're going to sell a website, etc. How would i go about looking for the unique hits in Webalizer?
Thank you.

It's the one that says "visits"
Thats the unique amount while hits is the non-unique amount. (I think...)

I actually believe that "hits" in webalizer refers to files accessed... So every image and text file included in your pages would count as a hit, so one pageview could easily exceed 50 "hits."
Hope that clears up some things for you :)

Last time I used Webalizer, it didn't say anything about unique visitors. If you've got access to AwStats too, that one gives you this info.

It does not say unique visitors, it says visits.
When i compare both... they are not the same. They are off by the hundreds...

Well unique visits is always a higher number unless nobody visits your site ever again after the first time. ;)
