I wasn't sure where to put this, but it seems to fit here.

I am debating between two hosts. Both have excellent support, good prices, and a good reputation. So, because they are perfectly matched everywhere else, I'm bringing my decision down to the control panel.

Host A offers Plesk, but without SSH. So I can't backup my site. Host B offers HSphere, which has a ton of excellent features, but is still kind of buggy. It is supposed to improve greatly with a new version in 2 monthes, with features including IMP webmail, IMAP support, and more. Plesk offers a better DNS management system than HSphere, (IMHO) easier account creation, a better interface, and already included IMP webmail and IMAP support. HSphere only limits e-mail accounts, mysql db's, etc. my available web space, which is a feature I like. And HSphere offers SSH access with cron jobs so I can easily backup my site. So basically, Plesk is secure with advanced, but minimal features, and no way of allowing me to backup my site and HSphere is advanced with a lot of great features (including allowing me to backup my site), but it is still buggy (even though it holds a lot of promise with upcoming versions).

So which should I go for, Host A with Plesk, or Host B with HSphere?

H-Sphere is getting bug fixes all the time.

I find Plesk to be extremely limited in ability, but if you only have simple requirements, then I suppose it's fine.

Believe me, if I would jump at H-Shpere if it wasn't for the facts that webmail isn't supported yet, IMAP isn't supported yet, reseller accounts are un-necisarilly (hmm...) strange, there is a big .htaccess bug, A DNS records are only supported on the main domain, and it runs in HTTP instead of HTTPS.

H-Sphere: WebMail is supported through SQWebMail - not as good as IMP - this should change in the next 3-4 weeks.
IMAP - is supported from day one. It is up to host to decide if they want to provide IMAP support.
It is off by default, as IMAP is very resouce hungry. The hosting company is always welcome to conatct support@psoft.net regading enabling IMAP support.

Do you work for psoft?
(asking because you seem to know a lot and your web site is listed as psoft.net)

He does work for psoft, and has been providing valuable information about H-sphere for us.
