I'm in the process of selling one of my sites. Can anyone tell me the proper procedure for doing this?

Thanks for your help.

Would it not be the same as selling a domain name?

I couldn't see it being any more complicated, once the price is agreed upon.

Sorry, Lats, I didn't make myself clear. In the past, I've switched from one registrar to another, but it's always been me as the owner.

When it's going to be a new owner, do I go through the same process for changing domain name ownership, or anything different?

BTW, is it just me, or is email notification not working in WHT?

Email - I've just received about 60 of them, must have been a kink in the hose :)

At the registrar, you should have an option to transfer the domain.

I've just recently sold a name and this is the process I went through.

1. Agreed to a price - and paid

2. Soon to be owner signed up at my registrar.

3. I initiated the transfer.

4. Registrar confirmed the transfer.

5. Success.

Only took a about 40 hours.

Just reply notifications for threads I'm following of course :)

Good luck on your sale.

you may want to take a look at the services offered by escrow.com
I have used them in the past and they are quite good.

You too? I got that too, only 59 though, and not all from WHT, just 90% from WHT, i thought it was a renegade DNS server hosing my mx settings again :(, good to see Snet fixed that.
