Anyone else experienced "page error" javascript problems in IE 6 when using the Cobalt Control Panel to make changes to settings. I'm getting problems on some pages where "page error" prevents me saving changes I have made.

I use IE6 on NT4 and Win98 with no problems on the RAQ CP.

I have been using IE6 with XP for sometime without problems, but do make sure that you update Java from sun. There have been a few problems with IE6 so make sure you have all the lasted patches.

Okay this is now even more strange - I have updated IE 6 to the latest version patch AND I have downloaded Netscape 6. This problem occurs for me in BOTH IE and Netscape browsers on a Windows XP platform (fully patched)!

Any further offerings?

I had a system at work that gave us somewhat the same type of problem. I am sorry about not being clear on the updates but they were for workstation. I also had a few problems on a machine at home until I download the Java patches for IE 6.0. and the patches from MS. I two tried netscape and did have a problem with Netscape. I then tried Opera 6.01 it a browser that is quite good. After I tested with other sites we could tell that it was on the workstation were the problem was occuring. I still not sure what application was steping on the browsers but after we reimage the PC we did not have any more problems. Sorry I am not anymore help, but you may want to see if you can get to your system with another PC. This way it will tell you if it's the server or your workstation. I am lucky in that I have several of both I can use both at home and at work. I help support 3000 desktops and 75 servers at our site with our staff of 65 people.
But most of what we support is Novell or NT/2000/XP.
The web site of the browser is www.opera.com

In all Browsers should be "en_US" in the language settings ... (on top)
