I run a website that caters for Vauxhall Cavalier/Calibra/Vectra Enthusiasts which is currently running UBB 6.2 very slowly. At most we probably get a maximum of 30 people online at any one time and we have currently got around 700 members. What I require is reliable hosting that will accept VB and does not cost more than $10/£7 a Month or pref a discount for paying a year (my site is non profit making so funds for hosting will come out of my own pocket). Would it be better for me to host in the UK or the US? and does anyone have any recommendations? I have to get something sorted ASAP as my members are moaning that since upgrading from UBB 6.04d everything has virtually come to a standstill. Tera-byte seems to get good reviews but would they be any good for me in the UK?

P.s..I have read quite alot of posts from US residents requiring hosting but none from the Uk (just in case you thought I was being lazy and posting without reading up first)

I am a member of a car club called F-Body Generations. I know the president of our club is doing the exact same thing. Our club's message board is currently UBB, but we are moving over to a VBulletin board within a few weeks most likely. I would contact the president about what host he uses, because I know that he has a friend that owns his own hosting company, so I am not sure about pricing....but maybe, since you are both running the same sort of non-profit site, he can help you work something out...
