Would Paypal and 2checkout be enough? destnj 04-28-2005, 10:34 PM Paypal and 2checkout are good if you want to keep your costs low and have no monthly fees or commitments, but you should look into a merchant account that offers recurring billing. hosting.addict 04-28-2005, 10:41 PM Paypal offers recurring billing with the paypal subscriptions. doublej 04-28-2005, 11:07 PM Doesn't 2checkout offer recurring billing as well? aingaran 04-28-2005, 11:53 PM 2checkout does offer recurring billing. You'll just have to setup the plan in their management section. Auracletech 04-28-2005, 11:56 PM I think 2CO is the best for processing you Credit Cards. You might also wanna use moneybookers.com or chronopay. The Napster 04-29-2005, 02:30 AM Also you might want to look into Nochex. Good luck Naz Auracletech 04-29-2005, 03:38 AM What's Nochex's website? I haven't heard of it before. I'll check it out. :) justahandle 04-29-2005, 01:36 PM Careful if you use 2Checkout recurring billing. Per a thread I started in the Ecommerce board, if you have a client with a recurring billing cycle, and they subsequently update or change their card information through 2CO, if they ever request a refund it will go to the *first* card used when creating the account, not the second card that was billed. 2CO says that this is a stated policy to *not* refund the card billed, but the initial card. So if you go 2CO be sure to tell you customers to NOT update or change their card information on recurring billing. They would need to cancel their account with you, and then restart recurring billing with new card number. hosting.addict 04-29-2005, 03:01 PM Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. Auracletech 04-29-2005, 11:15 PM Oh.... I fell I've done something wrong by buying a 2CO account. Toeki 04-30-2005, 06:00 AM Originally posted by Blue Blossom Oh....
