Which control panel do customers prefer and why?

I've tried them all (except Cpanel) and settled with the Webappliance because it had everything I was looking for.

Yes the WebAppliance is produced by Ensim.

i have only tested and used cpanel, and so far its good and easy to use.

i tried the ensim demo and it looks like the features it offers are far less. for eg: i can't figure out how to create a sub-domain using ensim.

I have used both Ensim WEBppliance and CPanel. WEBppliance is hard to use for beginners (read "customers"). It's powerful all right, but too difficult for the average user.

CPanel is not a powerful, but provides an easier-to-use interface. My customers perfer CPanel.

Hopefully, there will be a wider range of choices in the future.

Cpanel is a great panel but its backend is very buggy and is horrible (WHM).

Plesk is alright but the way it is setup it loads incredibly slow and it isn't very user friendly.

WebAppliance is a complete solution but has so many levels and makes it confusing (ex. Admin-Reseller-Domain-Domain User)

Hsphere is a very hard to navigate control panel. But you get used to it.

I would have to say that no one has produced the PP (Perfect Panel).

It depends on the application too. If you are going to be providing Virtual Hosting accounts.....Go with Cpanel If you are going to be providing Reselling Accounts or are just managing a server go with Plesk.
