For those who are already registered to attend HostingCon 2005 or those planning to attend HostingCon 2005 who have not yet reserved their hotel rooms at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, we recommend that you do so before May 5, 2005.

After May 5, 2005 we cannot guarantee that the discounted rate will stay at $131/night. We're working with the hotel to extend the primary discount period, but I'm not sure whether we'll be able to do this.

If we are unable to extend the discount period, the price will go up but will still be discounted off the regular room rate. I don't know what the new rate will be yet, but will post it as soon as I find out.

You can reserve your rooms online at http://www.hostingcon.com/attend/travel/. Please let me know if you have any questions!

We should also mention that while you must get your reservations in before the 5th, your CC wont actually be charged until you check out.
Just figured I would toss that info in incase anyone didnt know and finances were a current concern.. Mouse

I was starting to sign up and noticed the field:

"If you have a registration discount code, enter it below and click"

I've checked PingZine and searched wht in case there is a discount I might be missing. No big deal but if there is a wht discount code floating around I would sure use it.

Thanks
Steve

You can use WHT2005 which will give you a $150 price on the full conference registration. This is the code that would have automatically been filled in you had clicked a banner on WHT.

there are still rooms at this rate - but you must use the online system to get them - none on monday night - so you can call the hyatt direct and only book with them on monday night only. you may have to book twice on the online system as it wont let you split dates.

I'm going to call them on Tuesday and see if we can get some more rooms added to our block. They aren't out of rooms in the hotel as far as I know, but we've hit some limits in the block they configured for us. However, they'll let us sell as many hotel rooms as we can, I'm sure. :)

As sailor said, the online system is currently sold out. However, you should be able to call the Hyatt directly at +1 847 696-1234, ask for in house reservations, and book your whole stay. Just mention HostingCon as the group name and they'll give you the discounted rate of $131 per night.

Then you got someone that doesn't know what they're talking about, because I just confirmed with them yesterday that anyone can call in and get the discounted rate so long as the hotel itself is not sold out.

I called in and talked to 3 different people as getting different stories in the hotel rates game happens many times. all 3 within 15 minutes said the same thing.

Additional rooms have been added to the online reservation system and you should now be able to reserve rooms through there. See our hotel information page (http://www.hostingcon.com/attend/travel/hotel.php) for details.
