I stumbled upon this site almost by accident. Looks like it has some real potential... and can't beat the price.

Can anyone recommend one over the other? I have also seen Plesk & Ensim. I know this debate has been done quite often but seems like Plesk & Ensim are neck and neck in terms of ratings. Didn't see much mention on these other freebies. blacknight 03-15-2002, 03:22 PM Following some of the links on http://www.kandalaya.org/ (http://www.kandalaya.org/vk/vk/FAQ/FAQ-1.html) takes you to a plethora of free and not so free control panels. Webmin (http://www.webmin.com/) looks quite good - does anybody have any comments??? Virtus 03-16-2002, 06:06 PM Anyone got something for the Nt users ?? :D Maniac 03-16-2002, 07:57 PM NT for FREE? What's the web site for it? Neo3Net 03-17-2002, 03:29 PM No website. Visit the Web.Cp Forums and you will see that somebody modified it for use on NT. He sent some people copies but I am not sure. adsi4nt 03-19-2002, 05:14 PM I hope this isn't considered advertising, as I am making NO money on the deal. but check out the IIS Admin tool I have been developing at www.adsi4nt.com. It needs some more work, but the basic's are there and there are NO, nada nill dll's to install and you get all the source code... Anyway, at least swing by and check out the demo.... I searched their forums but was unsuccessful in finding it. Maniac 04-03-2002, 08:59 PM Originally posted by iamdave Can you link the NT version of the web CP? Webmin and Usermin work very nicely I think. Great tools for the non-techies in our office. Command line beats the pants off most graphical interfaces still though ;) Félix C.Courtemanche 04-03-2002, 10:10 PM I'm sorry, I cannot help you find the NT support for webcp. There was effectively one post on our forums that claimed having it ported to NT but I never saw it or had any news. http://webcp.can-host.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=15&forum=3 Hopefully that can be of any help. |
