Hey has anyone know where the hell OLM went? I can't find them on the web or phone them for that matter. I JUST signed up with them so they better not be out of business!!

Their still in business, perhaps you were using the wrong url, try http://www.olm.net

Well I am up here in Canada and I cannot reach either http://www.olm.net or any other support/admin site of theirs. As well I have phoned all of their #'s and they are all out of service.

I just recieved email notification they had a problem with their uunet prob. As for not being able to contact them (I hope they monitor this board) all of their phone #s on the registration confirmation email are ALL out of service.

I am in Canada, and I can reach their site now.

OLM is alive and well...

Inaccessibility today was due to a major problem experienced by UUNET with one of their main routers which was causing problems in the Chicago area. Only those utilizing that route would have experienced any difficulty...

As far as the phone numbers go... The answer to that problem may be related to the message below from OLM which I am reproducing for the benefit of the board members:

We are pleased to announce that, as of December 18, 2000, we have moved into our new corporate headquarters in Trumbull, Connecticut and our second data center is scheduled to go live on January 1, 2001.

Since the actual move took place over the weekend, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience or interruptions this may have caused. There were minor interruptions in the phone service this weekend due to the local phone company
incorrectly programming one of our toll free numbers. We were back on track this morning.

Tomorrow morning December 19, for a period of two hours between 6.30 am and 8.30am, the power in our building will be turned off to hook up and test the new power generator. Please note that you will not be able to reach support
by phone and emails will not be responded to during that period. More importantly we want to assure you that the power interruption will not affect your web site or your client's sites in any way since they are housed in our Chicago data center. The "emergency" email address will be
monitored by our Chicago facility as usual.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and we hope you bear with us through this exciting transition.
