I have a client in need of an account login feature. The client needs customers to login to their accounts and view their account information. Customers will not be viewing the same content but individual html reports. What's involved in setting up such a feature? Willing to pay someone to get the job done or would appreciate a script recommendation to point me in the right direction.

The account information will change monthly. The client offers a search engine submission service and provides a submission report for customers to view monthly. I'm looking for a simple solution that is easy enough for a newbie to use. Here's how the process will work:

Step 1: Customer orders from client and selects a username and password on order form.
Step 2: Client fullfills order and creates an html report page and uploads to a password protected directory.
Step 3: Customer will be notified via email with username and password to login from the client's main login page to view reports and account information monthly.
