dont you think it would be better to read their TOS more throughly, email, or call them instead of asking us? We're no smarter then you are :).

Hey Gary,

I would call RS and ask! Like porcupine said, they no more about RS than we do :)

You can have adult sites on RS, as long as its not illegal. I asked them a few times and all I got in response was...
"You should read the TOS.. it clearly states what is and isnt allowed". (although it makes no mention of adult sites)
After running around like a headless chicken for a while... i was finally told by customers, that as long as your adult site isnt illegal, RS wont take your server down.

I believe the distiction was that on dedicated servers adult content was allowed, but not on their shared hosting servers.

I second that.

RS does allow *legal* adult content on dedicated servers but does not on virtual hosting plans.

Please refer to our AUP/TOS for guideance. As Rackshack is not responsible for the content on your server, you are expected to manage the content and ensure that it is legal and complies with the law.

PS. We have no problem helping the authorities track down and prosecute those who break the law, particularly those that host kiddie porn. Nuff said.
