For this week, Chewnet.com are offering free logo design to the first 3 lucky customers. This is to publicise our logo design, and show the quality of our work.

By producing these free logo designs to the specifications of the first 3 requests upon reply to this thread, we hope to attract a wider range of people to purchase our current $25 logo designs.

The first 3 people to reply to the thread with their requests will have their logo designed.

I will include the follow up information once this stage has been complete.

Kind Regards,
Martin Archers

Requesting a logo.

Name on logo: skiv.info , I'm going to create a site about music and skiv/skiva means record / disk in Swedish. ;) It would be cool if you could give the logo a "musical" look (maybe with a cd, a speaker or something).

The following three replies will now be used and the logos will be created.

Right, starting off...Matti has posted his request, so that is okay, but could you other two also post yours here so the public can see what has been asked for, and then the result will be seen by all...

...once the first draft has been showed for all three, diss and comment on what you want changing in the thread, and more drafts follow.

This is just to give an inside into how we work, for the public.

Thanks,
Martin

Logo should have the word InTune in it. Will be used as the replacement logo for www.intune.org. It must match the color scheme of the orange and yellow.

Ideally I would like for it to look similar to what it is now, but the two (( ))'s on either side I'd like to be headphones, or something similar.

If you dislike my current ideas please just try to come up with something that matches the rest of the site and it's colors.

You should also note the site is musical related.

Thanks.

Mine was for travelingmonkey.com

A caricature of a monkey walking on top of a globe with a backpack, juggling a map, passport and compass

Forgot to mention that it can't resemble Curious George, copyright/trademark issue

I hate to say it, but I don't like it at all. It doesn't mesh with the current design of the site at all. You can't even tell this logo belongs to a music site by itself. With the old logo you can see the perfect 5th sine wave in the background there. I'd like to keep the logo on while only because it makes the website seem more fluid. With an orange background it looks like a button or a banner, which is something I don't want.

Okay for sure, your the boss! ;) - so a whole new layout will be needed. I'll have the orangy colour changed then to a more of a deep red. Plus the logo will have more of a shape, rather than the button look. :)

I beleive the original logo you do have is quite professional itself, did you create it? Or is it already a purchased design?

The other two designs are in the process of making their appearance on here shortly. :)

Kind Regards,
Martin.

You guys from Chew scare me.

I dont know if you have any type of background in design but it doesnt look like it. I dont mean to flame you or knock you.

It just seems that your design skills are not quite up to par. You have asked the client nothing about their business, the clients that come to the site, if it (the logo) is going to be used for any other medium than web ect.

Now, granted you cant always make the client happy and sometimes they are going to reject everything you put in front of them.

But to offer up something for free and then to offer numerous revesions to the design..huh?

If you need work to put into a portfolio then just build some.
