This company's server is down again in excess of five hours for the second time in less than a month, and the technicians are now uncontactable having been made aware of this problem.

Poor service.

Only 1 of our servers went down.... It was Server Starnight, the server locked on around 5:20AM EST, and we have been unable to contact the NOC for a reboot.

5:30-6:30 AM EST: Called NOC but voice mail and forwarded to another OPs' voice mail.

7:00 AM EST: Got a hold of the NOC but they guy there said he can not touch the unix servers because there was any upper level techs at the NOC

8:30 EST AM: We called the NOC for a reboot.

9:00 EST AM: CPANEL / WHM Inactive after reboot, We are attempting to fix this.

10:15 EST AM: Contacted NOC again on progress.

10:42 EST AM: I'm working on APACHE myself I guess its not that managed services after all.

Server will be expected to be up by 12:00 EST.

Personally I'm not sure why the server locked, and server Starnight, has so few sites on it. As for the people who posted and have an account with me, please contact me via ICQ at 122851895 and recieve free account upgrades and be able to move over to another NOC for a more reliable server (which have been up for the pass 2 months with no downtime).

Oh no. Not again.

Andy,

I will be contacting you via ICQ or AIM as soon as you come back online. I would like to discuss what is considered an upgrade? Does that just mean a different server or does it mean more features (not including more uptime)?

Since xism.net also appears to be down, can I assume that Starnight also hosts xism.net as well as the name servers?

Kevin

Starnight dont host name servers,
each server has its own nameservers.

Contact me on ICQ and we will discuss about it.
