still screwing up my site. (see earlier "horror story" post for details)

I have removed half my content, cut my transfer and hits back to year 2000 levelsand the jerks at webhosting.com still won't take the restrictions off my site that are screwing it up.

Right now over 100,000 error messages have been sent out to my site's visitors!

All I know is webhosting.com's idea of 'unlimited transfers and hits' is somewhere below 5 GBs. It is only a matter of time before they spread this policy to other sites. I think they are continually signing up new customers and not adding more servers. Solution: they push out any account above 5 GBs. Then they will push everyone out above 3GBs and so on.

THEY HAVE YET TO RESPOND TO MY REPEATED REQUESTS FOR EXPLANATION OF THEIR POLICY.

I am shocked that SBC owns that crappy service called webhosting.com. They suck. They talk about being a proud founding member of the "Web Hosting Guild." I can't even find this organization on the net. More B.S for dupping people into using their service! BEWARE!

ON ANOTHER NOTE:

Bell Canada is not part of the old Bells south of the border. It has provided great service to me on other services and have been very responsive when there was a problem in their other departments.

I am thinking of trying them out for a couple of months. ONE THING is certain. NEVER will I sign up for a year contract!

The Web Host Guild no longer exists. It was at www.whg.org, but died some time back. Details about the organization:

I find it funny when I still see web hosting businesses with links to whg.org, with stuff like "charter member", or "founding member".

No worries, since you are following me, I'll be president from 1999-2000, you can have 2000-2001, and we'll need someone with the title Following RackMY to be president 2001-2002 :D.

Guess I'll take the position. I need a little extra vanity in my life.
