This has been started today (at least is when I saw it)

Yeah, there were a *few* problems yesterday... that one lingers on for the moment :(

I get the same message when I click on "View new posts". It's starting to get really annoying to go to every single forum to see what's new and what's not :(

I hope you can fix this soon. Let me know if there's anything I can do.

Will someone call me when it's fixed?
I just can't find my way around without it.:bawling:

What exactly is the problem with the "View new posts" and "Search"? Why are they not working?

I was just about to post something about this and I see this thread already exists.

This needs to get taken care of soon or the board will be filled with "Plesk vs. Ensim" questions with no way to counter.

Yeah I tried to do a couple of searches and I got the DB error. There appears to be some database corruption in the search table.
Here is the error
<!-- Database error in vBulletin 2.2.1:

Invalid SQL: SELECT searchid, dateline FROM search WHERE userid=5329 ORDER BY dateline DESC LIMIT 1
mysql error: Can't open file: 'search.MYD'. (errno: 145)

mysql error number: 1016>

For MySQL 3.23.x use myisamchk or you can try to run repair.php .

OK, a couple of things have been done to try and fix these probs - Raj (of Voxel) has rebooted the server, everything has been re-indexed and other niggly bits fixed. The server was suffering under server loads of over 7 for most of yesterday. Thanks to Teck and Matt for following this up.

Hopefully this should assist the searching et. al This thread (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39948) pretty much summarises it.
