Where for out though are there any COOL and functional FREE menus that will work well with shared borders.

I've tried DHTML and Javascript ones and they seem unworkable.

Any good links out there for these?

I dont really know what your looking for but www.guistuff.com offers some nice menus in flash, javascript, dhtml etc.. They might have what you need.
