Ready to go, now need customers lol!

I have an extremely limited budget to work with, I'm not asking all of you to tell me your secrets :D - however any ideas on how to best concentrate my efforts would be appreciated, have just initated a google adwords ad run but so far performance is poor to none.

Any advice much appreciated.

Do a search and you will find more than enough. This same question is asked everyday here. Good luck and congratulations.

Ok, so your are going to have to start out small. This usually means start out local where you can trade shoe-leather for advertising dollars.

One thing I've found recently is targeted networking. In Nashville (where I am) there are now 3 companies putting together 'speed networking' events plus the Chamber of Commerce has it's usual mixers.

Be selective, most of the ones these days are targeted at specific types of individuals or industries. (medical, real estate, music, etc.) Figure out who you want to do business with (don't say everybody, PLEASE don't say everybody) and wait for a mixer to show up for that audience.

The last one I was at was small, only about 50 people. I picked up 1 paying client, 3 warm leads and 2 glasses of wine. not bad for $25.

pick a niche, then target it, think of every way you can to get into the minds of the people that fit that profile.

Ackoo is absolutely right. Start with a niche and grow from there. I would recommend targeting specialized content websites and mixing in some Pay Per Click advertising at Overture.
