(setup fee, transaction fee and charge back fee) ASPCode.net 03-12-2002, 05:25 PM CHarges: you will need to enter your info ( about your country, type of products you are selling etc ) - the charges depends on that. My request gave me this deal: $150 setup, $35 a month and then $0,35 + %3,95 a transaction. I have not decided on anything yet. 1q1q1q 03-12-2002, 05:32 PM Thank you. Do anyone know another payment gateway that support multi-currency? ASPCode.net 03-12-2002, 05:50 PM Worldpay, but their setup fee is pretty high I think. AL-Benjamin 03-12-2002, 07:07 PM the service is very good, unfortunatly the support seems to be getting worse by the day.:bawling: 1q1q1q 03-12-2002, 07:18 PM Worldpay. I have used it to pay my hosting fee before. It need to register before paying. Their user name and password are very difficult to remeber. So, i think i won't use Worldpay. WebBloom 03-13-2002, 12:25 PM I'm pretty sure that Worldpay doesn't have recurring billing and because it doesn't use a common gateway you are extremely limited with software that can enable this for you. I am only aware of one software provider (can't remember the name) that allows you to setup recurring billing with Worldpay. We chose Planet Payment because it seemed to be the only International payment gateway that allows multiple currencies, and uses the authorize.net payment gateway. However, they have been increasing their fees and it takes forever to get a reply from any of their sales or support staff. We plan to move away from Planet Payment in the near future as soon as we find someone that we like. David Delisle akashik 03-13-2002, 04:04 PM I'll stick the knife into Planet Payment's support as well. E-mailed them about two weeks ago about an odd charge. Finally got a reply 10 days later, and was disheartened to read it was little more than "I'm passing this onto sales" I fired an e-mail back asking if this was the sort of response time I should expect from them and am yet to hear anything back - kind of answers that question in itself. For all their ups and downs we're sticking with Revecom for now till we decide which processor to go for. Greg Moore 1q1q1q 03-13-2002, 11:08 PM So, PlanetPayment is not good at support. But, I think I will try to use it because I have no choice.... I need to receive HK dollar!! WebBloom 03-14-2002, 02:15 AM Originally posted by 1q1q1q So, PlanetPayment is not good at support. But, I think I will try to use it because I have no choice.... I need to receive HK dollar!! Exactly. I feel for you (I'm in exactly the same boat). I guess that's part of the problem. The guys over at Planet Payment know that they don't have any major international competition so they can get away with this. Hopefully something better comes along soon... David Delisle Jedito 03-14-2002, 02:31 AM And why don't you incorporate your company in USA and get an US checking bank account, you can get any Merchant Account with it. Of course that the price its high (I paid more than $2K for that, but it worth). 1q1q1q 03-14-2002, 04:28 AM Originally posted by Jedito And why don't you incorporate your company in USA and get an US checking bank account, you can get any Merchant Account with it. WorldPay does support recurring billing through its FuturePay service. 1q1q1q 03-14-2002, 03:10 PM Originally posted by zenwoo Well, just to add, Planet Payment requires a minimum security deposit of $6000.00. Are you serious? 6000 is not a small number. :( :( akashik 03-14-2002, 03:16 PM Originally posted by 1q1q1q Are you serious? 6000 is not a small number We paid no security deposit at all, so I suppose your milage may vary Greg Moore |
