- The logo and colors can be changed for free.
- Making the template in HTML can be done for a little extra charge.
The template is attached with this message. I prefer PayPal for paying.
If you have any questions or comments, please let me know. Thanks!
snikle 03-12-2002, 03:29 PM Very nice, I like it alot! The large text I think works well, makes it standout some agains the cookie cutter templates you often see around. Great job!
PencWeb 03-12-2002, 04:44 PM Very nice and professional looking. What is the width on the main first table? It seems just a bit too wide though. ;) Very big, nice server image - goodluck!
Diepstraten 03-12-2002, 05:04 PM Thanks for your comments :)
Nishansoft: the final version of the layout will get a width of 750 pixels so it also looks good on 800x600. The image I provided is meant to give an idea of the design.
By the way, if the client would like to have a width of 100% (so it uses all available space on 1024x768 by example), that's also possible.

Ahh, I see. Yeah good idea. ;) goodluck!

What format does it come in then?
Diepstraten 03-13-2002, 02:53 AM Thebyp2: I can create the layout in HTML, just like any other site. After that, I can make a template of it, so every page of the website looks the same and the design can be easily changed.
Diepstraten 03-13-2002, 08:38 AM Currently the highest bid is $200
ho247 03-13-2002, 11:36 AM Just wonderin... but what if the hosting company doesn't use Sun servers? And that "IMPORTANT" word in red seems like an important message to users, so I would get that changed if I bought it. LOL, I should have started with "I love this design"? Yes, I think this design is very professional.
If the site is made in Adobe Photoshop, will do PSD file come with it?
Is the current bid still $200, how would I know this? I would put an offer on it, but with bids such as these where people don't post the bid on the board, I can't see what's real and what's not.
Alan
Diepstraten 03-13-2002, 02:50 PM Ho247: thanks for your comment. The photo of the Sun server can easily be changed into another one; it just depends on what the client would like to have. The same for the text with 'important'.
By the way, the design is not created with Adobe Photoshop, so no PSD file will come with it. If needed I can send my Paint Shop Pro file.
Yes, the current real bid is $200. I understand some people don't want to post their bids on the forum; they just contact me.
To people who are interested in the layout: the auction will end on March 14 (tomorrow). Thank you.
YUPAPA 03-13-2002, 02:54 PM Can I contact the guy who wants the template for $200?
He must be rich! :D
fractiousws 03-13-2002, 03:11 PM I am the one that made the $200 bid. Yes I am a web designer my self but I have been to busy lately to make my own, and no I am not rich. $200 dollars is a good price for a quality template like this.
Diepstraten 03-13-2002, 04:30 PM This auction will end on March 14, 20:00 (GMT +1).
fractiousws 03-14-2002, 10:07 AM <!-Bid Withdrawn->
Diepstraten 03-14-2002, 10:53 AM Fractiousws just cancelled his bid of $255.
The highest bid is now $205.
If you're interested in the layout, please post your bid; the auction ends in 3 hours and 15 minutes.
PencWeb 03-14-2002, 11:09 AM - Making the template in HTML can be done for a little extra charge.
So what is the default that this template comes in, just an image?! How much is it to be done in HTML? I think that should come with it. It's over $200 now, and if someone wants it converted to a HTML doc, they gotta pay even more?!
peace out
- Shawn
PS: Why didn't you use Photoshop? Much easier, in my opinion. ;)
Diepstraten 03-14-2002, 11:42 AM Nishansoft: "How much is it to be done in HTML?"
That's $40 for the complete template in XHTML. That also includes inserting the company's logo, changing photo if needed, changing colors, adding hosting plans; just everything that the client would like to change or add. And the template will use CSS, so it's easier to manage the website.
Diepstraten 03-14-2002, 11:48 AM There's a new bid: $250
snikle 03-14-2002, 11:52 AM <<Removed>>
Diepstraten 03-14-2002, 11:58 AM Snikle, please note that some companies only want to buy a layout from a designer (without HTML template), because they have the possibility to create the HTML template 'in-house'. I just respond to their possible needs.
RobbertC 03-14-2002, 12:03 PM Snikkle, you're saying that for $200 the template must come in HTML.
Well, $200 for such template is not much. If you go to a big design company (pixelbrick.com for example), you're paying a lot more for this design!
And $40 for the HTML and other changes, isn't that much of all I think.
Some people want the whole world for only a small amount of money...
Diepstraten 03-14-2002, 01:03 PM New bid: $255

Diepstraten 03-14-2002, 03:10 PM This auction is ended; the layout is sold to the person with the highest bid.
PencWeb 03-14-2002, 06:00 PM Yeah for real, I agree with you snikle. ;)
Rob: i think for this template specifically, it is not "cheap". :) i don't care about big companies such as pixelbrick or whatever, they're REAL pro designers, who are PRO, and I mean pro. :) I'm sure they would put a lot more dynamic features and just a lot of good stuff in it, especially since they most likely use PS and other great proggies. ;)
peace out Gs,
- Shawn
