Ever since I applied a self signed cert to my RAQ, 404 errors also seem to be activating my self signed certificate.

I'm using a self signed certificate, and don't use any browsers that give me an error when I am accessing the control panel (the only area I want secure). But now virtual hosting clients are asking about the certificate error when they have a missing page or bad link.

Any advice greatly appreciated!!!
